HBI PACT (Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training) Free
A NOCTI-issued pre-apprenticeship credential requiring a minimum of 150 hours of instruction, available in Core and Core Green, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Brick Masonry, Landscaping, Painting & Finishing, Building Construction Technology, Weatherization, HVAC and Residential Construction Principles. HBI states "All programs and trainings are at NO COST to our students," delivered to veterans and transitioning service members, youth via Job Corps and BuildStrong Academies, and justice-involved individuals. The common misunderstanding: PACT is a PRE-apprenticeship — it gets you to the front of the apprenticeship queue, it is not journeyman training and it is not a licence.
